Description
In 1865, pharmacist Franz Karl Josef Bosch constructed Villa Bosch. In 1881, his widow Maria Theresia Bosch left her entire estate including Villa Bosch to the City of Radolfzell on condition that the donation is used for the establishment of a girl's school.
For some time Villa Bosch was owned by the German Imperial Railway. In 1987, the City of Radolfzell bought the building back. On 19th December 1988, Villa Bosch became what it is today: a concert hall and city gallery. The art association Kunstverein Radolfzell e.V. and the Culture Office take turns to organize interesting exhibitions.
